Update HighlightsThis update brings a bunch of improvements to the built-in weapons as well as better support for NPCs being able to use modded weapons.This update is optional for server owners, but it is highly recommended to update to get all the new fixes and features.Since Half-Life 1 weapons got a lot of love in previous updates, it is only fair that Half-Life 2 weapons get the same treatment, and with this update we've resolved most if not all visual and audio problems with the built-in Half-Life 2 weapons.

As an example, the built-in Flechette Gun now has full NPC support, meaning it can be picked up by Citizens/Rebels from the ground and used properly against their enemies.Your in-game content such as Dupes (built-in, not modded), Saves, Spawnlists, etc now also saves on the Steam Cloud automatically. No more broken sounds and effects.We have also added better NPC support to scripted weapons, so addon makers can now control exactly how the NPCs can use their weapons. Special missions – if the player is low on gold, they can partake in these missions to get more.Relation missions – missions that boost the player's relationship rating with other pilots.The players can choose to only fight alongside women, mobile fighters, or other such types of groups. Friendship missions – opens the door for meeting other pilots by categorizing various characters into select missions.Challenge missions – difficult tasks for the player to put their skills to the test.They allow the player to obtain rare plans for their MS or rare pilot skills. Memorial missions – when the player has reached certain milestones, such as shooting down 10,000 enemy units, these type of missions appear.Collection missions – lets players seek designs for a category of MS, such as Zeon types, red colored MS, and others.Unlike previous titles, these type of missions are available for the Universal Century-based story arcs -excluding Char's Counterattack- and alternate universes (Wing, X, G, Turn A, Seed Destiny and 00). History missions – reenacts events from the original Gundam series.Mission Mode has been expanded upon but rather than being one singular game mode it has been split into seven varieties: Original mode has been put back in the game along with several teams (Amuro, Setsuna, Kou, and Kira). (a commonly criticized weak point in the Dynasty Warriors franchise) has been revamped, with enemy units now gaining the ability to reinforce and support each other in combat.

Players will also be able to select their favorite Mobile Suit and band together for intense split-screen gameplay or online co-op multiplayer action.This Gundam title features a new, cel-shaded graphical style that brings the series visually closer to its animated roots, along with a new streamlined HUD that minimizes screen clutter. Weapon upgrades will be reflected graphically with increased range and power making it easy for players to see their Mobile Suit’s progress.

As players complete missions they will be able to upgrade their Mobile Suit and weapon systems.
Visual enhancements allow Mobile Suits and stages to reflect a war-torn world as players battle through hoards of enemies across each scenario. Mobile Armor units tower over the opposition and deliver absolute destruction to the enemy with the Mobile Armor’s unique weapons. Gundam Reborn will also allow players to control massive Mobile Armor units for the first time in the series.
Fans can also select Mobile Suit pilots to operate any unlocked Mobile Suit in the game for crossover missions in Ultimate Mode.
